This policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for Teacher Sarathi services and how third-party institutional payments are treated.
1. Free Counselling
Initial admission counselling described as free does not involve a Teacher Sarathi service fee and therefore has no refundable amount.
2. Paid Services, If Any
If a separate paid Teacher Sarathi service is offered, its scope, price and cancellation conditions should be communicated before payment. A refund request must include the payer’s name, registered mobile number, payment date, amount, transaction reference and reason.
3. Third-Party and Institution Payments
Application, registration, admission, examination, tuition or other amounts paid directly to a college, university, payment gateway or third party are governed by that organisation’s own refund and cancellation policy. Teacher Sarathi cannot promise, approve or issue a refund for money it did not receive.
4. When a Refund May Not Apply
- A requested service has already been substantially performed.
- Incorrect or incomplete information was supplied by the applicant.
- Admission is rejected or delayed by an institution for eligibility, document, seat or deadline reasons outside Teacher Sarathi’s control.
- The applicant changes their program, college, location or personal decision after work has begun.
- A non-refundable third-party charge has already been incurred with the applicant’s authorisation.
5. Review and Processing
Eligible refund requests will be reviewed against the communicated service terms and payment records. When approved, the refund will normally be processed to the original payment method within 7–15 working days, although bank or payment-gateway timelines may vary.
6. Cancellation Requests
To cancel a paid service, contact us as early as possible before further work or third-party costs are incurred. Cancellation is effective only after acknowledgement by Teacher Sarathi.
